Planks needed:

  • The wood you need for a planter is 4 scaffolding wooden boards, (½ x 8 inch) by 100 inch. In addition, a wide strip (½ x 2½ inch by 100 inch long and a narrow square strip (12 x 12) , also 100 inch long.
  • The scaffolding wooden planks are sawed into pieces of the appropriate length and are used for the sides and the bottom of the planter.
  • The narrow square connection strips are also cut to size. We use these connection slats for the construction of the inside of the planter.
  • The wider connecting strips are cut to size to be used for the wooden frame edge, or on top of the planter.
  • You only need screws, so a good (electric) screwdriver and a saw are sufficient for this job.
